Come clay with us is an art club therapy for children who want to learn through play. In Moscow, I enjoyed working with schools, teaching children to learn English through play. Many of the schools had a focus for the day, for example, the outdoors. We looked to create forms through clay to solidify the language and make it fun.
I also worked in library book-themed workshops. We read the book and then recreated the story using clay. We had some wonderful workshops which included many of the Julia Donaldson series. The children loved freeing their minds and developing storylines using clay and various tools available. It was wonderful seeing the children work in many different ways.
